Stavropol Krai’s governor Vladimir Vladimirov has visited the innovative plant of Urozhaynoye OJSC.

Governor Vladimir Vladimirov made a business trip to the Novoaleksandrovsky urban district. The main topic of discussion was the development of agricultural production and further processing.

In Ravninny township, the head of the region visited a processing vegetables and canning production factory belonged to the one of largest agricultural enterprises of the district Urozhaynoye OJSC. It has modern lines for the production of vegetable snacks and ready-to-eat cream-soups. 400 thousand units of snacks and 800 thousand packages of soups are produced per month.

The company expands sales markets by supplying its products to large federal retail chains (Perekrestok/Vprok LLC, VkusVill LLC, Lenta LLC) and also cooperates with large food producers (Mareven Food Central LLC), including international companies (Unilever Rus LLC). Last year, the company made first export deliveries to Germany and Holland.

Vladimir Vladimirov commented: “The development of agricultural products processing and introduction new areas of production is the path that Stavropol agro-industrial complex needs to follow. This is the diversification of the industry, creation of new jobs and economy development in rural areas. It is important that the leaders of agricultural enterprises set themselves this mission. This experience needs to be spread further”.
